Who is BICLP?
BICLP, the Botswana Institute for Clinical Laboratory Professionals, is a legal entity established to promote and progress the course of medical laboratory science in Botswana. Hence, the organization representing the medical laboratory science profession in Botswana.

Yes, BICLP is duly registered under Section 6(1) of the Societies Act

Individual medical laboratory science students and professionals, as well as organizations, can become members of BICLP

How much is the joining fee for BICLP membership?
The membership fee is currently BWP500 for annual BICLP membership running from 1st April 2017 to 31st March 2018. A once-off registration fee of BWP200 is also applicable for new members joining
Call for Collection of CPD Points
All registered attendees of the 3rd BICLP Scientific Conference, which was held on the 15-16 June 2016, are requested to kindly collect their CPD Points Certificate from the BICLP Office. About BICLP Scientific Conferences BICLP’s scientific conferences are held annually to provide an opportunity for exchange of information and networking as professionals in practice, as educators in the profession, and as researchers who are accumulating population-relevant data to guide clinical practice in the country, thus awarding Professionals in Botswana a meaningful role to advance the affairs of the profession.
